Counseling

Talk it through with a counselor

A one-on-one video session about your results, majors, exams or US and UK college applications. Here's how to book one.

What a counselor helps with

Bring the questions you're stuck on

Colleges and applications

Which US or UK colleges fit your scores and goals, and what to do next for each.

Majors and careers

What your interests and strengths point to, using the career assessments you take on Tutorition.

Exams and results

Which exams to take, and what your practice results say about where to focus.

How to book

Four steps to your session

  1. 1

    Create a student account

Sign up with your email and a password. It takes a couple of minutes.

  2. 2

    Take the career assessments

In Career, four short assessments cover your personality, interests, aptitude and emotional skills. Your counselor uses them — they're optional, but they make the session more useful.

  3. 3

    Ask for a counselor

In Career → Counseling sessions, tell us what you'd like to talk about and which times suit you.

  4. 4

    We arrange the session

The Tutorition team matches you with a counselor and sets the time. You get an email, and the session shows under My sessions with its video link.
